Juliane Sommer is an award-winning artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy, the United States, and Spain. She cites haptics and surfaces as playing a major role in her artistic practice. In some of her works, Sommer explores assosiations with landscapes, conveying a "deep inner calm". She primarily creates with acrylics, oils, pastels, India ink, and watercolors on canvas.
