This painting is a nod to the film Purple Rivers.
A dark film, full of intrigue, secrets around genetics... I wanted to recreate through the canvas, the image of the film poster, the enigmas relating to blood ties, the mystery...
It is for this reason that the colors selected on this painting are violet, crimson and other shades of these hues. The gold always brings more relief to the canvas.
All these lines also recall the tortuous path taken… by investigators to discover the truth and shed light on this whole affair.
