The sculpture depicts a female figure in a dynamic, acrobatic pose, balanced on the tip of one toe. The sense of lightness is accentuated by the metal rings surrounding her, which seem to capture the trail of her movement through the air.
Although the visual finish mimics the patina of antique bronze (dark green with earthy undertones), it is a piece made of resin… with a wooden base and iron elements (the hoops). The texture is deliberately rough and expressionistic, moving away from polished anatomical detail to emphasize the energy and emotion of the figure.
