About this artwork
This artwork was inspired by the emotional contrast between inner calm and outer chaos. I was moved by the idea of a woman’s gaze holding stillness, while her flowing hair—painted with sculptural texture—represents a storm of thoughts, memories, and unspoken feelings. I hope this piece will make the viewer pause and reflect on the beauty hidden in emotional complexity. I chose mixed media on canvas to build depth, using heavy textures and layers…
of vibrant color. The subject—a partially abstract female face—is central to my style, which often blends figurative realism with expressive abstraction. This work is a meditation on presence, perception, and transformation.
