About this artwork
This work is part of my ongoing exploration of human connection, impermanence, and the quiet intersections of everyday life.
Created in Waikīkī at sunset, this photograph captures a moment where strangers briefly shared the same space, each moving through their own story, yet connected for an instant by light, reflection, and place.
I am drawn to these passing intersections. Most of life happens this way, not in grand moments, but in ordinary encounters… that disappear as quickly as they arrive.
The reflection became an important part of the image, creating a visual dialogue between what is seen and what is implied, between presence and echo.
For me, Convergence is about those temporary alignments, when separate lives unknowingly meet before continuing on their own paths.
This work invites the viewer to consider the beauty in moments we share, even briefly.
