About this artwork
A drifting soap bubble passed above a group of children at sunset. It lasted only a few seconds before disappearing, yet every child reached toward it without hesitation.
That quiet gesture is what drew me to make this photograph. We spend much of our lives reaching for things we know cannot last moments, people, places, and versions of ourselves. I wasn’t interested in the bubble itself, but in that instinct to reach anyway.
The softness and motion… were intentional, allowing the image to feel less like a document and more like memory itself.
