About this artwork
The interplay between rigid structure and spontaneous movement creates a sense of controlled chaos, suggesting that even within apparent freedom, subtle frameworks guide how forms emerge and… interact. Through this balance of constraint and release, the work invites viewers to consider the invisible forces—social, emotional, or internal—that influence the ways we navigate the world.

Through layered surfaces and subtle shifts of texture, I create compositions that feel like vibrations held in stillness. Each work carries a quiet energy, inviting the viewer into a moment of pause — a lightness in the chest that cannot be fully explained.
My approach is rooted in years of working with paper, collage, and the physical act of layering. Before moving to Berlin, I was the first Japanese resident artist at Kunsthaus Tacheles, an experience that shaped my understanding of art as dialogue and shared space.
Every painting is an attempt to create such a space — a place where something unnamed can be felt.
