About this artwork
Das Diptychon „BECOMING… HAPPY“ ist Teil der Serie COURAGE.
Es ist ein Bild, das die Tür zur Freude öffnet.
Während schwieriger innerer Prozesse malte ich zuvor die Werke ANGUISH und RELIEF.
Danach spürte ich den Wunsch, etwas wirklich Freudiges zu malen.
Die Freude, die in mir wuchs, betonte ich durch spontane Linien aus Wachs (diese eigene Technik hat mir sehr gefallen), durch Farben und durch die Großzügigkeit dieser Bilder – sowohl in ihrem Format… als auch darin, dass sie mein erstes Diptychon bilden.
Das Malen brachte mir ein Gefühl von Freiheit und tiefer schöpferischer Zufriedenheit.
Beachte bitte, dass die orange Farbe, die in meinen Bildern das Symbol der Gegenwart Gottes ist, in diesem Fall am linken Rand des kleineren Bildes erscheint – und später am unteren Rand des zweiten wiederzufinden ist.
Das ist eine bewusste Entscheidung: Ich wollte den Prozess des Werdens zeigen.
