Quiet Alchemy transforms layers of ash, marble dust, coffee, plaster and paint into something unexpectedly calm. I build each painting slowly, allowing textures and subtle shifts of colour to emerge over time, revealing just enough of what lies beneath.
Soft, muted tones invite slow looking, creating a peaceful presence that quietly enriches the spaces it inhabits with warmth, depth and a sense of stillness.
Quiet Alchemy is a series of richly… layered abstract paintings that transform humble materials into works of quiet beauty. Through slow, intuitive layering, I create surfaces that feel weathered by time yet softly luminous, inviting moments of stillness while bringing warmth, depth and understated luxury to a home.
