About this artwork
EYES WIDE SHUT. One of my abstract works. I love playing with colors in everything, but especially in my abstract paintings. In EYES WIDE SHUT, blue, red, green and gray tones flow into each other, through each other and over each other. The title of the painting "eyes wide shut" and "inspiration" are incorporated as a collage. I created the work with acrylic paints and a paint spatula and collage on canvas.

My work explores the tension between identity, body, concealment, and transformation.
I don't understand painting as a representation, but as a space for inner movement. As a place where that which cannot be captured becomes visible.
I work in series that develop organically during the process, not from pre-existing concepts. Material plays a central role: acrylic, texture, gold leaf, platinum, and mixed media are not merely decorative elements, but carriers of meaning.
Concealment is not a retreat. It is a deliberate act. It creates distance, protection, and a new way of reading.
Faces and bodies do not appear as surfaces for identification, but rather as spaces for projection. I understand identity not as a state, but as a process, characterized by the tension between visibility and withdrawal.
