GOLDEN WAVE is my homage to the sea.
In its unstoppable power, its transformability, its beauty.
The composition of three canvases shows a continuous wave –
gilded with 24 carat gold leaf.
Every movement, every swing speaks of energy.
Of vastness. And of change.
This work was created in anticipation of my exhibition on Fehmarn:
Thinking of the Baltic Sea, the wind, the light.
And what flows within me when I paint:
Freedom, strength and… the courage to move on.
The triptych can be hung individually:
Horizontal, vertical or with spacing.
The wave remains. And it moves.

My work explores the tension between identity, body, concealment, and transformation.
I don't understand painting as a representation, but as a space for inner movement. As a place where that which cannot be captured becomes visible.
I work in series that develop organically during the process, not from pre-existing concepts. Material plays a central role: acrylic, texture, gold leaf, platinum, and mixed media are not merely decorative elements, but carriers of meaning.
Concealment is not a retreat. It is a deliberate act. It creates distance, protection, and a new way of reading.
Faces and bodies do not appear as surfaces for identification, but rather as spaces for projection. I understand identity not as a state, but as a process, characterized by the tension between visibility and withdrawal.
