About this artwork

Space and time, perhaps there are more dimensions in it. The first seems to be connected, on the contrary, space has a slight curvature, thus giving an exact geometry throughout the universe. The universe is not static, on the contrary, it evolves, moves, changes, and has expanded since its origin. In the composition of the canvas, time and space are represented through the absence of color, the use of volume, which carry the symbolism of expansion.…
The expressive value of the work is the absence of color, of universe, of matter, etc. It is said that it has another color.
To immerse oneself in abstract art, one must break with the concept of what is seen as “real”, giving way to a pure language.
Creating the perfect atmosphere for emotions and instinct, which will be unique and individual. Individuality will be the only protagonist of the interpretation, where common sense and rules give way to intuition and emotions, freedom has no limits. Worked with paper from Amalfi, Italy.

Karina Yacoubian is a visual artist whose abstract work explores the relationship between color and movement, alongside the balance of structure and freedom. Her compositions maintain a strong connection to the imaginary and the intuitive, unfolding at the intersection of geometry and gesture, order and emotion.
From an early age, the artist showed a deep interest in drawing, art history, and architecture—three languages that continue to define her creative universe. She studied Interior Design at ORT University in Montevideo, Uruguay, and later Architecture at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Although academically trained in design and architecture, she is a self-taught painter, guided by curiosity, intuition, and a deeply personal sense of experimentation.
