About this artwork
Maybe you should not always just see the road in front of you, but also the many possibilities aside.
The situation shown looks like a landscape photographed from the car. However, the city point is not completely conclusive, because you can see above all the right lane of a divided by a line lane. The situation is not recorded from the moving car, but probably by a walker, a cyclist who is just taking a break. The landscape shown could be anywhere… in Central Europe. You see a green field and in the background a golden strip of a field and two isolated trees. Behind the field, the sky is visible, with very low, hazy clouds.

Germany
« I want to create tranquility with my pictures and inspire the viewer to contemplate. »
Karoline Kroiß is an Austrian-German painter who has exhibited her work nationally. She primarily depicts women and girls lost in their thoughts or pictured in contemplative landscapes, applying an atmosphere of calm and quiet to each piece through a muted colour palette and soft light. Kroiß invites each viewer to pause and let the world slow down.
