About this artwork
The photograph of the 86-year-old Sardinian man beneath a 4,000-year-old olive tree was taken for an exhibition about aging gracefully in Sardinia. In this work, I captured the ancient strength and wisdom of a deeply rooted tree. The black and white photography enhances the timelessness and depth of the scene. The old man stands as a symbol of experience and life's wisdom, embedded in nature. This image brings peace and respect for nature to any…
room in which it hangs. It tells a story of constancy and connection.
