About this artwork
I encountered this charming young Arab foal in his loose box. I loved the fact that the walls of the box were an echo of the colour of his coat. He is rather unsure about me and is giving me a cautious look, although I am not very close to him, as I stayed outside the box to keep him calm. No artificial light was used for this image. Opinion on the characteristic Arab 'dished face' is divided, some people like it whereas others prefer a straight…
nose as seen in other breeds. However I find the look of this little chap endearing.
