About this artwork
This composition creates the impression of a mystical forest landscape with a lonely, quiet lake in the middle. The dominant yellow and green tones give the picture an organic, mystical atmosphere, while the darker accents in the middle of the picture suggest a hidden structure: in the center, a globe seems to be hidden, half disappearing in the foliage of the forest and at the same time reflected in the water of the lake.
This reflection creates… the optical fusion of reality and illusion: the horizontal axis divides the sphere into two halves, with the lower one reflected in the calm water and the upper one enclosed by dense foliage.
The boundaries between the elements blur - water, forest and universe seem to merge into one another, creating an almost meditative depth. Perhaps it is a metaphor for the undiscovered - a world that exists in secret, waiting to be discovered.
