About this artwork
This body of work explores the tension between beauty and toxicity through a variety of media. Drawn to the alluring colors, elegant forms, and delicate details of poisonous plants, I examine how nature's visual appeal can conceal danger. These works celebrate the seductive beauty of toxic flora while inviting viewers to consider our instinctive attraction to beautiful things and the consequences of valuing appearance without recognizing what lies…
beneath. Ultimately, the series serves as both an appreciation of nature's complexity and a quiet reminder that beauty alone is not always benign.

« I stay motivated to create by examining how histories, philosophies, myths, traditions, and the images tied to it all throughout time can be revisited, visually juxtaposed, and eventually contemporized. »
