About this artwork
Wedges, boards, planks, and cuboids – stacked unconventionally, as if floating in a vacuum. In "Bent," the forms barely adhere to their own boundaries: inks, watercolors, and other paints run, exceeding the contours of individual objects and following their own flow. What remains is the trace of a direct, rapid process – intuitive, uncomplicated, without detours.
“Bent” deliberately differs from the earlier works in the “Parties” series: less control,… more spontaneity. After the initial placement of the color fields, there is a slight refinement – but the goal is not perfection, but rather the energy of the moment, visibly frozen on the paper.
Ink, felt-tip pen, marker, and watercolor on paper. The work is signed and dated on the back.

This creates visual worlds that appear abstract from a distance and reveal thematic structures up close – snapshots of a multi-voiced, finely composed world.
