About this artwork
I created this image using calming shades of gray and blue, combined with warm beige. The cool color palette creates a clear and tranquil effect, while the beige adds a gentle warmth.
As is typical in my work, the image grows outwards from the center. Point by point, concentric circles emerge, opening outwards and gradually becoming finely ornamented structures.
The paint is applied with a deliberately textured, three-dimensional effect. Numerous… dots stand slightly raised on the surface, giving the image a tangible, three-dimensional structure. Depending on the light, small shadows and reflections change – this makes the surface appear vibrant, even though the overall effect remains calm.
For me, this image has a calming effect. The uniform geometry, the many small dots, and the restrained color palette create an atmosphere of tranquility, clarity, and inner balance.
