About this artwork
Dancing Still was inspired by exploring the depths of emotion of dancers through the captivating stillness of dance. In this silence of stillness it was found that the dancers emotions spoke louder than words. Janus is the first male dancer sculpture to be released in this series

Kathy Prest is a passionate British sculptor with international exposure. Interested by the dynamics of movement and thus primarily inspired by dance, she seeks to construct tactile, sensuous sculptures that combine classical purity with contemporary visual reality. Prest ultimately wishes for each viewer of her work to feel inspired by and appreciative of the innate beauty of the people around them.
