About this artwork
I wanted to create two torsos intertwined in a frozen embrace-metallic, sensuous, and raw. Adorned with fine chains and crystals, the forms blur the line between luxury and restraint, intimacy and entanglement.
Drips of paint cut through the polished surface, evoking emotion, imperfection and the traces we leave on one another. With this sculpture I explored connection, identity, and the beauty found in unravelling.
