Katja Nagel is a German-Greek artist who lives and works in Munich and on Hydra. Her works combine symbolic color worlds with poetic mythology. After an international career as a top manager and entrepreneur, she has dedicated herself to her artistic practice for many years. Her painting unfolds in series in which themes such as nature, origin, myth, and identity play a central role. Her connection to Greece is particularly strong—culturally, emotionally, and geographically. She has a permanent art collection on Hydra (Historical Archive Museum of Hydra) and regularly exhibits her work in international exhibitions. In recent years, Katja Nagel has established herself rapidly in the art market. She has been intensively involved in art since her youth, working in goldsmithing, sculpture, and pottery, as well as oil painting and innovative glazing techniques. Now she has made her passion for art her focus.

“We don’t see things as they are, but as we feel them.” – Katja Nagel“
