U.S. based sculptor Kevin Caron was named sculptor of the year in Edmonton, Canada, as well as artist of the year in Arizona, U.S.A. In recent years, Caron has been experimenting with new technologies to create what appears to be organic forms. Caron had an 8 foot-tall 3D printer built, which allows him to create pieces up to 4 feet tall. Full of beauty, whimsy, and mystery, Caron's bright resin sculptures lay at the crossroads of ancient forms and modern technologies.
