About this artwork
Beauty. So fascinating!
The young Würzburg artist Kevin Wilczewski also deals with the topic "What is beautiful?" in this work (title: "Am I beautiful? - Green version"). Wilczewski wants to use his large-format, colorful works to encourage viewers to question their own perception of beauty and promotes independent thinking. He deals with ideals and researches how social media affects society in this regard. The white color gradients ("drips") in… his works lie like a veil over the person depicted and push them into the background - illustrating the transience of life and appearance.
From his modern pop art series "What's beautiful?".
Are you enough for yourself? What does beauty mean to you?
The artist used the following colours: Acrylic jungle, Acrylic spa, Acrylic ink white
« With my portraits, I put the desire for beauty in the foreground, showing how ephemeral it can be, and helping to change the way we view our behavior. »
