About this artwork
SOLD - Hydrangeas are usually purchased in a pot and they are often bought when they are young and as they develop into their mature color they start as a chartreuse green color and slowly over time they change into their mature color and in this case the color is blue with a purple edge and so that is why I called this piece "Becoming Blue". These are such beautiful flowers and are one of my favorites because they come in several beautiful colors…
and I love watching them change and evolve and happy to add this piece to my Contemporary Botanical Series!
