About this artwork
This work captures the fascinating moment between form and light. Using stainless steel, wood, epoxy, and LEDs, I create a combination of coolness and warmth, clarity and mystery. A play of light reflections that invites the viewer to continually discover new details and stories. Around 18 epoxy spheres of various sizes, individually handcrafted by me, which were integrated and cast into the cube, create, with black and silver elements, ever-new…
and interesting lighting situations. The cube, with an edge length of approximately 18 cm, rests on a 92 cm high and 28 cm wide column. Laid on acrylic glass and covered on the sides with a stainless steel frame, it unfolds its special effect with a surface as if sprinkled with water, creating a special refraction of light. Upon request, a narrower column for this cube in a different look and height to suit your ambience is also available as a commissioned work.
