About this artwork
I painted these cats with a naive simplicity to capture their gentle friendliness and innocence. Each silhouette tells a unique story, united by a warm minimalism. I hope this painting will bring a joyful atmosphere to your home, full of charm and quiet complicity.

Ophélie Simonet, also known as KOA, is a self-taught painter born in 1987 in La Rochelle, France. Inspired by pop culture, 90s nostalgia, and her synesthesia, she favors a neo-pop, graphic, minimalist, and colorful style, celebrating the childlike nature of art while challenging academic conventions. Through a playful and unconventional energy, her works radiate good vibes and invite us to rediscover the audacity of simplicity, awakening the child within each of us and instilling contagious joy.
