About this artwork
Dance with me is a work that captures the fragile and intense moment of an encounter. Against a vibrant background of red and pink checkerboards, two white silhouettes emerge with a free, almost instinctive line. They face each other, approach, respond to each other—as if engaged in a silent dance, between attraction and tension.
The title acts as an invitation: to enter into the movement, to accept the other's play, to let oneself be carried away.… The composition relies on a strong contrast between the repetitive structure of the motif and the spontaneous energy of the gesture, reinforcing this impression of rhythm, almost choreographic.
