About this artwork
The combination of purple and green, two of my favorite colors, made perfect sense. The shade of purple was chosen to blend harmoniously with the fir green of the solid background.
This iconic little object, a classic in rearview mirrors (along with those big plush dice), defies categorization. Every driver or passenger of a quadricycle, commonly called a "car," has undoubtedly experienced it at some point.
Whether to flatter one's ego as a car… owner, to appreciate its appealing and popular design, or to enjoy its heady fragrance.
A fir tree? Why yes, it evokes the forest and its inhabitants, a cozy evening by the fire, the magic of Christmas... and the great outdoors! Real, fresh air.
Not the wet dog smell or children's vomit that you normally carry around in your vehicle.
