About this artwork
I created this artwork to capture the vibrant energy of purple, an electric color, full of life and mystery. With simple, naive forms, I wanted to convey an inner light that illuminates and warms. This painting will bring a dynamic and joyful touch to your home, like a gentle spark of daily inspiration.

Ophélie Simonet, also known as KOA, is a self-taught painter born in 1987 in La Rochelle, France. Inspired by pop culture, 90s nostalgia, and her synesthesia, she favors a neo-pop, graphic, minimalist, and colorful style, celebrating the childlike nature of art while challenging academic conventions. Through a playful and unconventional energy, her works radiate good vibes and invite us to rediscover the audacity of simplicity, awakening the child within each of us and instilling contagious joy.
