The piece brims with surreal animals… marked by spots and patterns, evoking both primal instinct and artificial design. From rain-laden clouds above to a Wi-Fi sign and ice cream truck below, this colorful, layered work suggests a cyclical story of salvation, survival, and relentless progress. Javakhyan’s expressive lines and vibrant palette invite viewers to reflect on the infinite chapters of human existence.”

Koto Javakhyan is a contemporary artist with over 25 years of experience. Born in 1984 in Yerevan, he studied at the Henrikh Igityan National Center of Aesthetics, the Hakop Kojoyan Art School, and the State Academy of Arts of Armenia. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Armenia.
His work blends figurative and abstract elements, often exploring themes of identity, human nature, and social conformity. Animals and symbolic forms appear throughout his vibrant, emotionally driven paintings. Koto now lives and works in the United States and is represented by Arttoon Gallery. He is also the founder of the Doodles Art School, where he teaches young artists.
