About this artwork
I had a dream in 2019 where people's heads were spinning in the dark and instead of nameplates with their names on them their essence was written on them, they were spinning around the light, one of the nameplates had "Madness" written on it.
In crafting this sculpture, I melded raw emotion with the timeless motif of the skull, surrounded by chaotic, almost wild animal elements, to manifest a dialogue on the beauty and fragility of life. Each ceramic… piece carries a whisper of impermanence, urging viewers to reflect on life's fleeting nature. Emphasizing contrasts-life and death, chaos and beauty-this work aims to provoke, inspire, and resonate deeply, adding a powerful yet contemplative energy to any space it inhabits.
