In this work, I sought to capture the fluid and hypnotic essence of the knots and swirls of the millefeuille wood, hollowed out in zones and then partially burned, mixed with the delicacy of a subtle painted abstraction.
The result of a thoughtful collaboration with my friend Jean-Sébastien Agud, who works with wood with talent, we wanted to create a complete visual work that does not privilege either the frame or the canvas, one bouncing off the… other and vice versa.
With oil paint, I wanted to capture the essence of living matter, the depth of textures, and invite visual meditation. This piece transforms natural energy into a soothing vibration, ideal for bringing calm and warmth to your home. The artwork is signed on the back, lower right corner.
« Every day, I quietly brush away my balances, my sensitivity, my imagination and I dream of touching the other. This is the life that I have chosen and that has chosen me, forever. »
