This canvas is intended as a symbolic representation of the line to follow.
Line of conduct, editorial line, educational line, budget line, line of battle, etc. All these more or less dictated lines that we follow daily, sometimes with submission, sometimes with will. The canvas of imposing dimensions presents an abstract visual ensemble made up of lines and strata that can symbolize our living space, cut vertically by a line embroidered with gold… and/or fluorescent yellow thread: our life line. This line is regularly and deliberately discontinuous and uneven with shifts from right to left to evoke on the one hand the difficulty and resistance of the human spirit to let itself be guided, and on the other its animal need to belong to a ordered collective.

Her favorite themes pertain to nature, as well as the place of humanity in nature. LABB expresses these topics through the depiction of veins, roots, vines, and entanglements in order to reflect on our ties, hindrances, dependencies, servitudes, and isolations. She primarily creates using oils on canvas.
