Work No. 6 in a series begun on February 24, 2022. Created on March 15 — the 19th day of the war.
The composition resembles a patchwork of irregular, angular shapes — fragments from earlier works reassembled into a new, unstable yet coherent structure. Like fabric remnants sewn into a quilt, it reflects an attempt to reconstruct meaning from what remains. On a material level, the piece refers to a symbolic dome — a fragmented map of protection zones.… Color gradation indicates vulnerability: azure hues suggest relative safety; crimson marks exposed areas. On a metaphysical level, the work alludes to collective spiritual action — people from different cultures and beliefs uniting through prayer, meditation, or silent intention. Together, they create an invisible “quilted sky” — an intuitive layer of protection above the physical world.
