I created this photograph as part of my series The Grammar of Stillness, exploring silence, scale, and the enduring presence of historic architecture.
The image focuses on the monumental Gothic façade of Canterbury Cathedral, one of England's most significant medieval landmarks. I was drawn to its soaring vertical lines, intricate stonework, and the sense of permanence conveyed by centuries of craftsmanship. By working in black and white, I sought… to emphasize the dialogue between light, shadow, and architectural form, allowing the cathedral's structure and rhythm to take centre stage.
This piece was proudly Accepted on 1x, reflecting its curated artistic quality.
To ensure museum-grade quality, each artwork is professionally printed by theprintspace and dispatched from their London or Düsseldorf hubs.
Each limited-edition print is signed and numbered by me, and is accompanied by my Certificate of Authenticity and the official 1x Acceptance Certificate.
