About this artwork
The virtues of videoconferencing in difficult times: images on the screen, meetings, a flash, a face as if haloed by a cloud... The skies and their clouds are real leitmotifs at Duc, so it's not quite astonishing to discover one of his creatures from the Tombées des Nues Series being crowned with a fluffy cloud... often the sky appearing in the background but not this time. Also in the voluptuous hair of creatures we often read the waves generated…
by the clouds. The face is intended to be soothing, lost in some nostalgia, however it is the right to dream in question and sometimes to lands that are not necessarily happy but strong inspiring.
