About this artwork
Dilecta is the beloved, or who is going to be loved, therefore a promise of sweetness, joy and well-being. This woman expresses a moment of intimacy, surrounded by luxuriant nature, a symbol of health and positive energies. The bather delicately holds an orange star with her hand raised lightly towards infinity, in confidence with the unknown, the future. Giraffes are the therapeutic relationship with the animal, wild, which allows to be in connection…
with the exceptional, the rarity, the preservation of nature and therefore of man. In this painting everything is connected, serenity, wisdom also sensuality, the freedom to be, to simply be there, to be in the present moment. The small giraffes on the orange-red balloon express the bridge between childhood and maturity, the large giraffe carries a small giraffe on its back, so that it can see far... This work symbolizes "being well": being at peace with its environment, the untamed wild nature, and with oneself.
