About this artwork
"Feux de Joie" belongs to the nocturnal dreams of the Cargos series initiated in 2004 in Istanbul. None of the mad jubilation caused by the appearance of these dozens of Cargo ships waiting to enter the Bosphorus has dried up. The fascination remains the same and this firework is the evocation.
It is a vision with reflections, incandescences, colored scintillations, which does not leave aside the ambivalent emotions caused by the presence of these… large vessels and their destination.
Opacity, gigantism, plastic game of superstructures.
