Laurence realizes this series of abstracts in letting go, in a kind of action-painting. She begins a canvas without an idea of what it will be, the painting follows its path almost autonomously, it is the hand that guides it. The turn and the edges of the work are painted like rusty metal.

Laurence Moracchini is a French painter whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in China, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Her abstract figurative style allows for greater freedom in creation. Moracchini paints using acrylics mixed with marble powder, producing a matt texture. Her pieces are developed by overlapping layers, through gestures that are fast, energetic, and intuitive.
