About this artwork
All of Laurence's works are born of a "spontaneous" creative process: without premeditation, in letting go and energy. Conversely, B372 was created from a series of small formats.
This very material painting thanks to the addition of marble powder has a very strong visual impact thanks in particular to the contrasts of colors and the intensity of the orange. The outline of the canvas painted in a rusty metal style accentuates the "raw" character… of the work and acts as a frame.
The interpretation remains very free according to the will of the artist who always surfs on the crest of the figurative and the abstract.

« I wish that my pictures emerge from emotions. »
Laurence Moracchini is a French painter whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in China, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Her abstract figurative style allows for greater freedom in creation. Moracchini paints using acrylics mixed with marble powder, producing a matt texture. Her pieces are developed by overlapping layers, through gestures that are fast, energetic, and intuitive.
