With the goblets, she wanted to think about our consumer society and the use of plastic, a real calamity for the planet.
Another idea developed in this table is the food waste with tomatoes on plates. Our modern civilizations spoil far too much food.
And then there is the use of water made by men with the river that serves as the bottom of the table.

French artist Laurence Saunois has established herself on the international scene thanks to her talent recognized by the prestigious Society of Animal Artists in the United States, from which she received an Award of Excellence, as well as by the Art Renewal Center, which awarded her the title of Living Master Associate. She has participated in numerous SAA exhibitions and the National Tour, allowing her to exhibit in leading American museums. Her realistic and sensitive animal works are featured in several private and public collections.
With Nympheus Luminansis – Water Lilies of Light, Laurence Saunois opens a new chapter in her artistic career. Inspired by Monet's gardens at Giverny, this series of ten large-format works makes light and color the true protagonists of her works. Already internationally acclaimed, it will be presented during a US museum tour from 2026 to 2027 in six museums.
