House Niculescu - Dorobanțu - Monument Office space
A replica of the French castles, built in Renaissance style with Gothic decoration, the edifice was projected by the architect Grigore Cerchez for the industrialist Ilie Niculescu - Dorobanțu. The Palace was dedicated to his wife, Tatiana, daughter of the great Romanian politician I. Brătianu. She was fascinated by the castles of the Loire. The tale atmosphere of this palace was created through… the elegance and care offered to its constructive and decorative elements: elegant sculpture of the window frames, the game between the carved stone and facing bricks, stained glasses, interlacing details, the silhouettes of the towers.
