About this artwork
In my paintings, I reflect on my memories, experiences, and feelings from my trips to the nature of the archipelago that I love. The dialogue between summer and winter makes the harsh landscape of the archipelago so fascinating: darkness and light, storm and tranquility, colours and black-and-white.

Leena Fredriksson is an artist based in Finland whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in Luxembourg, Italy, and Spain. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as CIRCLE Art IDEAL, CORRIEREdell’ARTE, etc. Creating in themed series, Fredriksson's works are marked by contrasts. She is particularly inspired by Finnish landscapes, as well as the dialogue between summer and winter.
