This work, previously published, has been restored and reproposed with some chromatic variations. This work represents, like all the others in the "lockdown" series, the concept of closure and limit. In this particular case, the artist imagined a sort of migrant / traveler embarked on a ship. He is in a kind of floating prison and observes the infinity of the sea from a small porthole. This means that no matter how much we may feel in prison, we… will never stop looking to the future, to infinity. The work is made with small aluminum sheets assembled on a wooden support. the "rust2" and more generally chromatic effects were created with the use of water-based enamels.
« I am a serial accumulator. From time to time, the objects and materials I collect call me. It is time to start working. »
