«Four Elements» is a spiral of primordial forces imprisoned in metal.
At the base, a circle of red jasper represents earth. From it, a crown of flames rises, paving the way for the dance of water, enveloped in a vortex of air. The water falls back to dissolve into steam.
It all starts with a single sheet metal cut. No welding: just geometric intuition.
Made of stainless steel, the sculpture can decorate a living room, but also a garden, a terrace… or a patio without fearing the elements.
It's a work that doesn't simply show itself: it moves, it tells of an ascent, a confrontation, a truce. It thrives in the encounter between what burns and what flows, between what weighs and what flies.
The work comes with a printed cutting proof with a poem signed by the artist. A pyrographed wooden base can be commissioned separately upon request.
Leonardo Chiari works primarily with metal, and grew up among forges and steel, where he learned to shape the material from a young age. He employs a technique that blends craftsmanship, drawing, and mechanical technology, moving from freehand sketches to laser cutting, creating sculptures that combine functionality and sculptural presence. His works convey a vibrant tension between strength and fragility, inviting us to perceive each form as the fruit of an intense and authentic dialogue with the material itself.
