Leonardo Chiari works primarily with metal, and grew up among forges and steel, where he learned to shape the material from a young age. He employs a technique that blends craftsmanship, drawing, and mechanical technology, moving from freehand sketches to laser cutting, creating sculptures that combine functionality and sculptural presence. His works convey a vibrant tension between strength and fragility, inviting us to perceive each form as the fruit of an intense and authentic dialogue with the material itself.
