Leticia Gaspar is a Spanish artist whose works center around ruins, buildings, or shops. She does not paint in a landscape sense, rather, she focuses on a single building or store, approaching the subject in a manner that is closer to portraiture. Gaspar is not interested in creating a copy, and most often begins her artistic process from particular images or ideas that have captured her attention. From which, she composes the scene.
