About this artwork
A tectonic mapping of the four stages of intimacy. In this work, I’ve used fragmented figures to visualize the psychological architecture of a relationship:
The Search (Top Right): An eye and a solitary figure in motion, representing the initial journey toward connection.
The Ideal (Middle Right): Two profiles locked in a steady gaze—the clarity and focus of the honeymoon phase.
The Conflict (Middle Left): A study in contrast. One figure remains… firm and loyal (eyes closed, hand-on-heart), while the other represents performance and the "tilted" weight of fakeness.
The Realization (Far Left): An elongated, final profile. The intimacy of the first phase has evolved into a quiet, profound clarity.
This is love as a structural process: moving from the excitement of the find to the grounded truth of realization.
