About this artwork
Schroeter creates an ethereal scene of rich golden pigments suspended in another dimension.
'I craved to re-create the yellow of the daffodils in my garden and visioned the pigment lifting off the canvas. Inspired by the Lunar Codex time capsule launched by Space X as part of NASA mission, included images of my work, to be placed permanently on the moon .'

Linda Schroeter is an award-winning American artist whose paintings have been exhibited in the United States. Creating in a contemporary realistic style, her works center around still-life and wildlife genres. Schroeter is drawn to the animal and natural world intermingled with human-made objects, which are imbued with symbolic meaning. She creates from life, as much as possible, and works in the traditional painting methods of the Dutch Masters, employing oils on linen, canvas, or metal.
